PocketAI (“we”, “us”) is a tool that uses AI to help you understand messages, letters, screenshots, and similar content. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the service.
What data we process
When you submit text or images for analysis, that content is sent to an AI model for processing so we can generate an explanation. We do not store your submitted text or images against your account or in any persistent history. Content is used only to produce the response you requested.
Payments
All payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. PocketAI does not store your card details. Stripe processes payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy and PCI DSS standards. We receive only a Stripe customer reference and transaction status to manage your scan credits.
Local storage
Your Stripe customer ID and credit balance are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your device. This data does not leave your device except when making API requests to our service to check or update your entitlement.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect the service and any data passing through it. All connections use HTTPS.
Third-party AI services
Content you submit is processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers are bound by their own data processing terms. We do not permit them to use your submitted content to train their models under our agreements.
